Shalane Flanagan, the Massachusetts runner who recently won an Olympic bronze medal in the women's 10,000-meter race, will have top billing among eight Olympians entered in tomottow's CVS Caremark Downtown 5K.

The American record holder of the 3K, 5K and 10K, Flanagan plans to defend the national championship she won at last year's Downtown 5K. She is a native of Marblehead, Mass.

Today, five of the eight Olympians will be available for autographs at 4 p.m. in Waterplace Park, said Charlie Breagy, a founder and the director of the race.

Besides Flanagan, the Olympians include Joan Benoit Samuelson, the first woman to win an Olympic marathon, and a two time winner of the Boston Marathon.
