Once the storm slides by, there should be plenty of great weather to paddle Rhode Island's inland waterways and Narragansett Bay.

At the Kayak Centre in Wickford this morning, Matt Bosgraaf and Billy Stark talked about some of the kayaking classes and special paddling trips they're offering.

The centre has scheduled a sunset trip on Wickford Cove for Aug. 28, a day-long Ocean Play course for beginners on Aug. 29, and an Ocean Play beginners course specifically for women on Aug. 30.

September is also filled with courses for beginners and more experience paddlers.
