The Interbike Festival will be held Oct. 10 and 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in conjunction with the Providence Cyclo-Cross Festival at Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island.

Organizers hope to gather bike enthusiasts from around the eastern U.S. in Providence to see and demo soon-to-be-released bikes and accessories from brands such as Giant, Haro, Rocky Mountain, Scott USA and SRAM.

Although this is the first year for the festival and combined cyclo-cross event, the company did gather in Providence last year for its Interbike Demo Days.

Attendees will get to test ride on the Roger Williams Park's road, commuter, mountain and cyclo-cross bike testing areas including one road loop and two scenic off-road trails.

In addition to demoing products, taking part in activities, food and music, Interbike Festival attendees will have the chance to race in or watch the Providence Cyclo-cross Festival, a USA Cycling-sanctioned professional and amateur cyclo-cross race event. Part of the prestigious Verge New England Championship Series, both races will take place on the same course used for the 2005 and 2006 U.S. National Championships.

Festival admission is $10.
